CHARACTERISTICS
The Model PSSB half Retractable Sootblower is applied to the cleaning surfaces of boilers fired with ash producing fuels. The blower is principally used to remove slag and ash deposits from super heaters, reheaters and economizers, air preheaters etc.

Design Feature:
1. Low maintenance.
The forward and reverse movement is driven by rack and pinion mechanism. All driving parts are easy to maintain.
2. Minimized spare parts stock
The same valve as the other sootblowers of Lemond is applied for the LMD-PS series to reduce overall parts stock requirements.
3. Partial retract option
Where gas temperature permits in boiler, PSSB sootblower can also be supplied in a partially retractable configuration to reduce the exterior projection of the sootblower from the boiler.
4. Easy to install.
The sootblower mounts directly onto wallbox of boiler, front and rear points suspension to suit horizontal and Vertical expansion of the boiler wall.
